William Chandler completed If I Were A Mountain in the winter of 2019-2020. He started it years earlier in the coal fields of East Tennessee.
As performed here, the song was recorded with Holly Gwin on piano and Bill Chandler singing. Sound engineering was provided by HandymanIT and William Kenlon. Holly wrote the piano arrangement.
Kenlon edited the composition. Kate Richardson copyedited the score.
The cover image depicts a scene in the Great Smoky Mountains, where fortunately there is no coal.
Cover design was provided by Ann Sarber of Annapolis.
